An Interactive Attraction in Mixed Reality -BLADESHIPS-

A new type of interactive attraction in mixed reality environment, BLADESHIPS, has been designed and developed. The BLADESHIPS is a game in which players compete with each other by controlling virtually expressed belt-shaped flying object, “ships”, with their hands in real environment. They control their own ships by avoiding other ships and real/virtual obstacles. They try to drive enemy ships to hit the obstacles. Occlusion between real and virtual objects and collision of virtual ships with real environment are represented to increase reality of the game.
